pre contract budget and procurement advice for the proposed refurbishment of a production building within the existing facility
including vetting and checking contractors proposals and tender costs. Provided client with recommendations as to most suitable
contractor.
Intercontinental Hotels Group, London (Refurbishment of corporate
buildings within London)
Assisted
Intercontinental Hotels Group (ICHG) in the rationalisation of their existing corporate offices. As part of a team, ICS provided
full pre and post contract quantity surveying services, including organising and managing several relocations of staff to
temporary offices. ICS provided all budgetary information and procurement advice then controlled the post contract budgets

Nat West Corporate Banking/HSBC Corporate Banking/Royal Bank of Scotland Corporate Banking
ICS has been appointed by all these organisations to provide the Monitoring
Surveyor role on numerous residential developments, which includes comment on planning approvals, appointments of professionals,
cashflow statements and programme, insurances of developer and professional team and the regular on site monitoring of the
costs and progress of the scheme together with the quality of the build. ICS has now been providing this role for over 5 years.
TKL Architects
ICS has provided pre and
post contract quantity surveying services to TKL on a number of schemes, including the refurbishment of teaching and student
accommodation for Portsmouth University and the construction of 12 commercial units in Southampton.
Gregory Associates
We
have assisted Gregory Associates in the production of priced maintenance schedules for Basingstoke and Dean Council
which involved the survey of their existing buildings, production of a schedule of defects/repair and then providing a priced
document which indicated the likely costs of immediate repairs and then repairs over 3, 5, 10 and 20 years.
Hellier Langston
ICS
has provided a variety of services to Hellier Langston, including budgetary advice on refurbishment of leisure centres for
Southampon City Council, providing costing information for schedules of dilapidations and negotiating with third party surveyors
and also several development appraisals, etc.
